GMH and GKX are very similar but GKX likes the higher voltages

both hit similar clocks
GKX gives a bit more overhead sometmes, since they like teh voltages so much. before over at XS was giving his 2.7-2.8 volts and hitting almost 650mhz@ 4-4-4-12....

Lets hope I didn't get the "Promos" chips I've never heard about....maybe I'll do a write up on this ram when it gets here.

Anyone know what the best way to remove heat spreaders is? Last time I tried, I shoved a pick in my hand, lol.

I think you are getting the super talent right. I would NOT recommend removing the heatspreaders on those. If they are like the ST that I have they use this glue stuff that will pull out your chips. Trust me I tried and I have removed many heat spreaders. These are near impossible to remove.

If you look at them and they have the regualr heattape stuff then you probably can. If its a clear looking stuff dont think about it.

Yea they may have the kind of thermal compound that bonds to the chips, as maxmax22 said. That would suuuuuck! Why would you want to remove the HSs? Don't tell me that you have some waterblocks for them! Those are crazy...
