Hey guys does anyone know if these are all the same mousepad or if now they sell different versions?

I'm asking because I find around images of versions with beautiful and showy cucisture on the edges, but others are not there, so I wonder if there are different versions of herself even now which of the two sell today?

With cucisture

Without

Same things is on both speed and control versions.

Razer no longer makes the version with the straight cut edge. If you buy a new one today it should have the anti-fray edge unless it's really old stock. I bought a Goliathus control extended mat on Amazon a few months ago and it came with the new anti-fray edge.

Component History:
Athlon 950 Thunderbird > Athlon 64 LE-1620 > Athlon x2 4850e > Phenom II x3 720BE > Core i5-2500K > Ryzen 7 1700
GeForce2 MX400 > Radeon HD 4650 > Radeon HD 5770 > Radeon HD 6850 > Radeon HD 6950 > Radeon R9 290 > GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

I'd imagine that wherever you're buying it from would have a picture so you know which you're getting.

Component History:
Athlon 950 Thunderbird > Athlon 64 LE-1620 > Athlon x2 4850e > Phenom II x3 720BE > Core i5-2500K > Ryzen 7 1700

So then send a message to the shops customer service and ask them which one they're selling?

Component History:

Yeah there was a new version put out. You don't want the old one, I had two of them pretty much destroy themselves before I got something else. Unfortunatly that something else was another Razer mousepad, the Megasoma, which also become un-usable within a few short months. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif Their mice are nice at least...

fyi, I found the speed version both more comfortable and durable than the control.

As I stated earlier, Razer no longer makes the old ones without the anti fray edge anymore. The one you're asking about has the anti fray edge.

Component History:
Athlon 950 Thunderbird > Athlon 64 LE-1620 > Athlon x2 4850e > Phenom II x3 720BE > Core i5-2500K > Ryzen 7 1700
