Referring to the right side lip, I suppose?

no, it just has no space if your palm is 9+ cm
without lip hands starts to hurt in 1 min of using it.
its basically very round 5cm wide mouse if you dont count plastic below the thumb

DA is wider, but as short as g400.

Those are two completely different mices, shape and ergonomics, but made for palm grip, my personal opinion...
Logitech G400 have that horrible lip, that personally makes my pinky numb.. yesterday I went to a pc store and they had the G500, and for my surprise there's no lip.. I thought all ergonomic mices from logitech had that horrible lip...
I'm at the office right now and I don't have access to youtube, but there's good comparison video between those two models. Take a look at if you can, the "reviewer", talk about some interesting points about the differences. wink.gif

The surface on DA 2013 is terrible imo. I don't like rubber coating but would still take G400 side coating over the DA 2013s surface. I can't lift the DA 2013 as easy as the 3G/3.5G. But I think this will only be a problem if you have dry hands. Why are there not more fully glossy mice frown.gif

The only horrible is the classic rubber.

The new surface of Razer is more rigid, difficult to smudge ( digital track, weat, dirt ) and to consume, not like slimy rough rubber, absoluttly better. Should be the future.

I have the g400 for my second pc its a good palm grip mouse just like deathadder.
Ordered the deathadder 2013 once just for fun and send it back after 2 days of usage.
Just to see what I think about tracking feels for me weird I prefer the savu I can really explain it but tracking feels much better on my previous savu now roccat kone optical.
But the biggest con I had with the deathadder was that pressing the mouse buttons was to easy.
I could not lay my hand comfortably on the mouse or else I would accidently click a button (left and right)

I get better grip on the old thanks to the glossy sides.

My DA 2013 has much harder switches than my 3.5G. Prefer the lighter switches.
