Just ordered one today, now I only hope my new video card gets here first.

Out of curiosity, what would happen if I tried to run the monitor from a single-link DVI port?

i got a 8800gts, i dont got the sleep mode problem. But sometimes i do get my screen acting up like all windows and whatever i have open tear up and only way to fix this is to restart. it is wierd because when i ctrl alt del the lock screen shows normal but when i go out of the lock screen evrything is messed up. I noticed this only happends my i have a lot of programms running at the same time, maybe my video card just overheat. I do have a pretty old system

Does anyone know the height of this monitor (including stand). I own it but its currently in storage and I need to know whether it will fit in a desk that I am looking at!
Cheers

The top of my monitor sits at 44.5cm from my desk.

So if no one ever confirmed this has the best performance then I guess there's no point in asking if the "super" variant maintains those advantages.

They all use the same panel. It's a matter of how each manufacturer implements the rest of the components that differentiate them. In the playwares (I think that's the Korean website) reviews, it was primarily contrast ratio that had given this one the edge over the others, but I would say it's negligible and can be overidden using software.

Pick the one that meets your needs. For me it was monitor height since my table is high enough as is so I wanted a low one. Others cannot stand the fugly bezel on this so they opt for one of the alternatives.

Yes the super simplified the stand because the original could actually topple under it's own weight quite easily if not setup "properly". If you did manage to balance it well on the 2 joints, it will sit very low like how I have mine.
