Hello i am looking at the new ASUS PB278Q 27 inch PLS Display the price here in denmark seem ridiculously low and i was just wondering is there something with the display that make it bad?
The prices start around 4600 danish which seem very low as the next one is around 8000 danish
I very much like it but is it worth the money?

You can't go wrong with that. If you can get it at a "good" price, that's probably one of the best options out there. I had a 2560x1440 IPS and loved it.

I have a thread about it if your willing to read about it but basically I broke the panel, it appears to be that these IPS panels are quite sensitive.

Not a big fan of the ASUS matte coating (if its anything like the VS248H-P, VH242H, P238QR - also an IPS monitor) yes ive owned a lot of Asus monitors lately haha

Since I've found the Korean 27" IPS variants i cant go back - i currently have a CrossOver LED-P because it comes with a great pivot/swivel/height adjustment stand and the glossy coating makes the display pop. I currently have a 120hz 27" IPS on pre-order and cant wait for that to come in.

Plus theyre at least 50% cheaper than major brand IPS diplays, and not having multiple inputs is great if your a gamer - less input lag.

The only thing this monitor might have on the korean monitors is its level of backlight bleed since its an A+ panel, and its contrast ratio which is a 8million:1 tongue.gif seems kinda crazy...but i believe most korean panels (and the Apple Thunderbolt currently is 1000:1)

Up to you i wouldnt be surprised if this monitor is around $800 tho

it is around 800 US but all the others cost even more then that so 800 is still the cheapest 1440P display you can find here in denmark
