I'm looking into investing ~400 dollars before tax on some nice monitors.

I will not be doing any surround gaming, but i will want a high degree of productivity.

I will also doing some graphics work (not professionally though), so color reproduction is quite important as well.

My current options are:

3 x Cheap PN or VA panels, such as the BenQ GW2250

2 x IPS Panels, such as the Asus PA238Q

or

1 x Korean IPS/PLS Panel, such as the CrossOver or the Qnix Evolution II

All comments appreciated, thanks biggrin.gif

No, if your case is hovering, you have just enough airflow. Too much is when it starts to take off and get away. ~Chucko

I have seen a nice deal on Ncix.ca

http://www.ncix.ca/products/index.php?sku=80516&manufacture=Bundle%20Deals&promoid=1364

NCIX Eyefinity Bundle 3x BenQ GW2450HM 24IN Widescreen LED Monitor

599$ -- 485$ (115$ rebate)

Or even better triple monitors for a little more (The rebate is of 230$ )

NCIX Eyefinity Bundle 3x BenQ RL2450HT 24IN 2MS MLG HAS LED Gaming Monitor

779$ -- 549$

OR

If you want 1440p IPS, the CrossOver 27Q Led-P is just incredible, I have 3 of them and I really like them wink.gif

You say you are going to do graphics work and color production is important? TN/VA is out of the question which moves onto 2x 1080p vs 1x 1440p i assume u meant? You didn't state what screen size you want. Though I ask if have you ever seen a 1440p monitor? If not, it is a considerable jump from 1080p... I personally recommend 1x 27 inch 1440p (Korean) monitor for you as you can use your current monitor as a secondary.

Though the next question is PLS vs IPS which I still don't know the answer to.

Those look like great deals, but I've done a bit more research and it seems like PN and VA arn't too great at displaying colors (although i am using one right now and doesn't really have a problem with it.
I am leaning towards the CrossOver at the moment, can you tell me which seller did you get your monitors from, are they perfect pixel? Thanks
