I've been meaning to start using LastPass for a while now, any views on that vs KeePass?

KeePass is stored local and far more secure IMO. Encryption is probably similar, but the chances of your database or hashes getting dumped somewhere after yet an other breach at LastPass (rolleyes.gif), are nearly non-existing.
It also makes me feel safer, knowing that I have the database and don't rely on a 3rd party service or availability.

There are plenty of plugins to integrate it with your browsers and other software. Enter the masterpass once after logging in to Windows and you're good until the next reboot. In case of a laptop, you can probably set it to lock the database when entering standby and forcing the user to enter the password after the system comes out of it. Not sure though.

I haven't looked back since I've started using it thumb.gif

And like IaVoR said, considering fully encrypting your systems and files.

I keep my very important data on an encrypted VHD that I mount with a single click on a batch file smile.gif
