Hey,

Lets say this is a scenario:

PC 1 - Connected to Internet with wireless + has onboard LAN
PC 2 - Doesn't have a wireless card but has onboard LAN

Is it possible using a switch to share the internet from PC 1 to PC2?

Cheers,
Fury

Also, we're discussing intel because it seems like there's no way to enforce pure-AMD build threads in this forum. It should be renamed the 'you really want intel instead' forum.

what your thinking of is known as "bus topology" in the networking industry. I believe its possible but im not 100% how to configure it. You'll need a different kind of Ethernet cable to go from PC to PC, im sure of that.

If you already have a switch laying around, you can use that and it'll be the exact same thing as with a crossover cable.
