Very true and I hope people are still sending examples in.

would be great if new GPUs (no matter if AMD or Nvidia) would come without any major issues.

Moral of story guys, never buy GPU at launch period. Stuff like these need time to iron out.

Generally it is recommended to buy 4-6 months after launch day.

Would this show in a benchmark like Heaven, Valley or 3D Mark? They contain multiple flyby scenes + sound so stuttering and audio issues should be easy to identify.

This is not the first time, its the rule rather than exception now, this is all too common over the last 3-4 years.

Sadly, objectivity seems to be at a premium recently also so these issues are either trivialized or blown out of all proportion by the committed/recent purchasers. Brand wars are for kids, not enthusiast forums.

The usual beta testing was done outside of the controlled environment, this is not the case anymore, controlled testing means controlled results..perhaps they need to refocus on better external beta testing with less reliance on synthetic testing in house.

Is there anyone with very low green dpc latency on Windows 10 ? On a 1090t + ATI HD 5790 + 4GB DDR2 machine it hovers around 1000 yellow.

I think you may have the same problem as me. Try LatencyMon instead. I don't think Latency Checker has been updated to work on anything later than Win 7.

Pascal has many similarities to Maxwell, and many claim it is exactly the same cores. So there was really nothing to screw up, Nvidia has had this sort of arch for years now. Honestly though, this DPC latency thing crops up in their drivers every so often, seems like once a year or so. I dont know why people keep spreading the myth that Nvidia has awesome drivers when they have been so far behind in stability the past year and a half.

Oh, i did not notice that one. LatencyMon says 375 highest, changes between 50-150.
