Yeah, as the titles states. Suddenly my system runs like garbage, specifically in games. counterstrike 1.6 surprisingly even runs horribly. I have no idea what could have caused this shift in performance. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Has anything at all changed that might have caused it? Even something very small, updated drivers, installed a new program etc.

Anti virus yeah, but I've had it since day 1 and yes i recently installed the latest nvidia drivers. I suppose the drivers could be a likely culprit.

Those new Nvidia drivers are messed up (so I heard)...roll back to 305 or something, those drivers works best for me.

Here are the driver versions that i just tried using, "314.21, 314.07, 306.97, 306.23" none of them made a difference and all performed equally bad. The drivers must not be the issue.
