Have you tried running the artifact test in ATI Tool? I once voltmodded my 7900GT. First, the vcore mod with conductive ink. Worked like a charm, gave core clock a massive boost.

Then, I did the vmem pencil mod. That screwed my card up. It still works, but I somehow did some damage to it. ATI Tool would detect artifacts at every clock speed, and overclocking it above stock clocks put artifacts in my games. So, that may have happened to you.

so your saying the ram overclock is hurting it?

edit: cleaned off the ram volt mod did a really minor pencil mod on it.. that boosted .5V and left it at 1.4V so far and its stable.

(I'm not sure what hurt it. I doubt it was the vmem mod directly, maybe I man-handled the card too much.)

Hmm. I'm not really too sure. If I was in front of your computer, I would see if there were any monitor settings I could fiddle with under Display Properties or in the Nvidia Driver Settings (clicking Advanced). I'm guessing the monitor is running at the wrong ferquency or something.
