sadly my PC looks 100% the same when 4 titan Xs were in there with a 5960x
but here it is with 4 1080s and a 6950x (WHERE IS THE UNLOCK NVIDIA!!!!)
They don't exists, no support from Nvidia drivers for 3+ SLI you have to rely on application developers using low level APIs to implement support for 3+ GPUs.
On the other hand I'm open to receiving donations of unused 1080s from 3+ SLI.
I went with the FTW from the off, dual BIOS, 10+2 phases and 2x 8pin for not a lot more just made sense to me:)
I have never flashed a bios so the FTW cards will be the first ones I do it too.
I expect that one of the two slots contains the original bios, and the secondary slot is open for us to put w/e we want there?
I also assume that putting a custom bios in the secondary slot does not harm the warranty in any way? At least if I use a bios that only unlocks the power target and does not go over the limit of 1.25v?
Sigh...the exact opposite for me, ordered SC just for the block support...would rather have the FTW but then again I have SC and block in hand today so theres that.
I wouldn't be too worried, looking at the overclocking performance of some of the custom boards, it looks like they clock no better than the FE versions anyway. Worse in some cases. It seems that a well binned chip will be more important for now, until the 16nm process matures a bit........
