The 8500gt does outperform the 7600GS.

8500gt has 19.2gb/s bandwidth.
7600GS has 12.8gb/s bandwidth.

Plus 8500gt has dx10 support.

well i have a 7600 gt and its been working fine with games

also it did not cost soo much about 109 dollars, sure it doesnt have dx10 but still thinks it worth it

that GS is spoecial, its alos faster than an 8500GT, its a DDR3 card with 1400mhz mem aka 22.4gb/s of bandiwth

Just go with the 7600GS. It's a midrange card as opposed to the 8500GT which is a high-low end card.

That galaxy 7600gs is a probably the best 7600gs available...its a brilliant overclocker and comes with a zalman cooler,overclocks to becomes faster than the 7600gt.
