9800gx2 doesnt look good in those tests.... I would be buying a 38702x or an 8800ultra for $400 instead of $600 for the 9800gx2... Lets hope new drivers make the 9800gx2 test better.

What the hell are you talking about, did you even look at the benchmarks, the 9800gx2 beat out everything in most of them - Cod4 - Stalker - World in Conflict, just Crysis and Fear is where it didn't excel (but Fear is so ancient anyways..).

But the GX2 has 2GPU's.

This is why is doesn't look very good yet, the simple reason behind this is because that card will excel at high resolutions.

At resolutions like 1280 * 1024, 1400 * 900, the power of the GX2 and other SLI set ups is not used.

Hence the reason why the 8800GTX puts out similar performance at those resolutions.

There's some fantastic scaling on the GX2, it's better than conventional SLI by quite a margin.

It all depends on what happens with the new drivers that come out and to see how the GX2 developes, I cant wait to see the quad sli benchmarks, I wish I could spend close on to a grand on 2 of these cards, but I really dont need to.
Interesting comparison with the SLi GTX, although I would have liked to have seen the same structure throughout the whole review, as they chop and change between 1 and 2 GTX's

not impressed ..

i honestly thought that the new 9800 gx2 would be better than that...

BUT there are new drivers to come out ..so we will have to see.
