Quake4? I would recommend the 6600gt over the plain 6600. I can play quake @ 1024*768 with everything maxed and no lag.

im agree, you really want to buy a gf6600GT. i have one i run all on high settings, at 1280x1024 getting, 60fps, and it looks gr8! in quake4. also can run al maxed f.e.a.r great game at 1024x768 with 45fps
and yes it does have cineFX 3.0, intellisample 3.0, ultrashadow 2 and shader 3.0 full support

I run fine on a fx5700le on high settings 800x600 fine...though oc. It lags in big areas with 5-10+ guys, but still playable. Dunno if that can help, but if the le oc runs nice on high, the 6600 should play awesome.
