i just got this, looks like its on spot.

All depends how OCD you want to get, I'm thinking. You could probably OC your 2500K to "benchmark stability" somewhere around 4.8 to 5.2, and improve the peak benchmark result that way. The other maniac thing that can be done is reflash the vga bioses to allow 1.2 core volts and maybe get between 900 and 1000 on the core. But then again, I'm probably a bit mad.....

72 72

Good score and seasons greetings to all! thumb.gif

I would love to run a 3D Mark 11 run, but am currently running mixed matched RAM, so I cannot OC my CPU any. I did do a trial run with my video card OCed, but it was less than 500 difference than my previous GPU OC, with my CPU OC'ed to 3.8GHz. Once I get some money, I'm going to get all matching RAM to go in my computer, but for now, I gotta stick with my scores in 3DMark thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

wow, what happened to the croud, seems noone is posting. Are ppl upgrading to the 5-series already? personally, I think I can get just as much out of this thing.

I haven't been able to find out for sure, but did they change cores between the 1GBv1 and the 1GBv2 models? If I ever decide to SLI I would probably need to know for sure, and get the proper revision.
