I must admit, that's pretty impressive for a 84.5 cubic inch box.

And about the sound, Macs do have great sound quality. When plugged into my X530s, my iBook sounds much, much better than my PC does with my SB.

If it weren't for the fact that I like my PC and didn't have $600, I would consider the mini. It is a good system for breaking into the Mac world. I've always liked both, I just like PCs a little better. But hey, Apple sure knows how to make small computers, seeing as they've been doing SFF PCs since 1984.

I'm a graduate student, and I develop HPC codes in Fortran and Matlab to make the world better.
My user name too long or weird for you? Feel free to call me LBN. FYI, it's French for "the black box."

Aye, I'd consider a mini if I had the money.

I'd probably wipe away OS X the first chance I get, though.

OS X is reason you get a Mac, lol. I like it much better than Windows. It just... works.

And what, put linux on it? I am a avid mac user (I own 2. 1. iMac G4 2. MacBook Pro 1.83 ghz) and I love them. They are much more reliable than any PC ever made and plus, they don't run windows
