boo, i dled something from dc++, yeah i know i wasnt careful, and now my cpu usage keeps going up to 100%. The PG uasge by explorer keeps going up and up and ewido or avg cant find anything wrong. an ideas? THanks in advance

Well to me it sounds like a virus or spyware so you need to get a few programs to scan with and remove these threats.

Control+alt+delete and goto the process tab and see whats running.

Once there open this site in a new window\ab and type your running processes to search for what they are and if they are really needed or not.

Bookmark the site its a good tool to have around for this type of thing.

yeah sounds like some messed up proccess, if you go to start - run - msconfig , you can stop the process from starting, if that doesnt work as a last resort try system restore
