I'm thinking of getting two 6950 DC's to stick in my spare Dual Quad Core Xeon machine, as they seem to provide good bang for buck. Thoughts?

The 6950 is pretty good bang for the buck. HD 5870 and GTX 480 are pretty good bang for the buck too.

They are a great bang for a buck...Wait that didnt sound right. They will put out a lot of points, while using a lot less electric than your CPU farm.

You are tearing up the CPU projects. It took you no time to take away QMC from me, along with the new guy that has 2 million points in it. I was top dog in it for a while, but I am glad some others are finally running that project.

If you have problems with heat then it might also interest you to know that running Dirt my card uses 40 W less power than running Donate.
