I don't understand the point of brand favoritism.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
A: Within the next month, 3 months, 6 months, Other (please specify)

Within the next 3 months I am planning on watercooling my main desktop, but I am currently working on a cheap little desktop on the side.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
A: (Choose: Price, Performance, Graphics Capability, Brand, Other (please specify)

I normally look for Price/Performance for what I am doing. I have no problem spending a lot on a CPU, but it has to be worth it.

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
A: I have two desktop that I like to keep current. Although I just sold off one so that APU would come in handy! Anyway, I try to upgrade every 6 months or so and try to keep it current and to be able to sell my used parts while they still carry a decent value.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
A: A combination between price and performance. It's nice to feel like you're getting the most bang for your buck. AMD has always done really well with this in my opinion.

What a perfect opportunity for an all AMD build for my nephew who's performance challenged with his current gear. tongue.gif

When do you next plan to upgrade your Desktop PC?
A: Within the next two months in the Dec/Jan time frame as funds are being gathered right now.

What do you look for when selecting a processor upgrade?
A: Price minded for a budget build that still yields a very worthy performance gain from a reputable vendor I have confidence in and I can recommend in my nephews system build.
