How do I resign officially?
I think you just did. And I'm joining you.

I'm not giving up on my project, but there's zero chance I'll have it ready any time soon. Several family issues and financial considerations have prevented me from building the system I intended to mod, even though I've made progress on the mod itself. (It's a custom reservoir, but next to CD's waterfall it's less impressive.)

When I get an actual prototype together I'll put up a build log for some post-competition laughs. Good luck, everyone!

You are not aware of your own potential, which is good, because most things you have the potential to achieve are not worth doing anyhow. I mean really, you have failed to live up to your potential for making giant sculptures out of cigarette butts, that's a good thing. You probably learned more playing video games.

well, my boss just crushed my foot with a bobcat bucket today, so it looks like i'm going to have to follow the cavalcade of leavers... NOT!!

In spite of possibly having a fractured foot, I will press on!! I will limp to the finish, and take home the gold!

That's the spirit!

Anyone know when the "unveiling" is supposed to take place? I know the deadline is July 1.

I'm still hoping the rules will be finalized before the contest is over
Any more quitters? I don't mind winning by default.

I don't have time to finish, but I am so close that I am going to have to just make time to finish. I am so so so so close.... but just as busy.

I will fight to the DEATH and conquer all! (not really it's just a fun contest)

Well, it's official. I'm out No time to get this one done, life just got in the way this year. I'll finish the case in due time and hopefully be ready for next year's competition. Good luck to everyone who's still in it and I can't wait to see your mods
