This is my opinion so don't get butthurt:S

Also for some reason I prefer bc2 over this probably because of the true destruction like buildings collpasing in bf3 for example in the metro map a lot of things cant be destroyed
You are contradicting yourself. You dont expect a Battlefield game to have urban downtown city maps yet the most popular map in BC2 was Karkland, infantry only. Just saying, m not butthurt at all.

i had the same impression you had 1 hours into the game... and its actually a great game once you get better at it and ignore the casual crashes.. they will eventually get fixed.. I do agree the battlelog interface is a piece of junk.

Not a fan of the BF3 maps they are really lame... bigger fan of the BF2 and BC2 maps they are great.

infantry combat is great, you can tell they put a lot of time into it. wish i could say the same of the maps and vehicles. everything about vehicles needs to be re-done, including controls, physics modeling, weapons, equipment, everything. maps are too linear, the largest maps feel too small. hopefully we'll get some big patches to sort it all out.

OP is not the only one who liked BF2 but disliked BF3. Lets see if DICE will butcher Karkand in BF3.

The game isn't great, its EPIC!!! gunner2.gif

I'm playing it in single player on Hard with aim assist off and also in multiplayer (online duh). Plus I like the interface of Origin compared to Steam, what more do you want? IDK why you say the control surfaces aren't good at all because I find them to be the most realistic of all FPS games. But most importantly, I haven't had a SINGLE issue with the game.

Wasn't very original. Sure, MP is pretty good but I am not the kind of person to spend hours and hours on MP. I am glad I didn't buy this game (I played it at a friends).

Also, the lighting, while I understand it's appeal, hurts my eyes and so I couldn't play for more than 30 minutes at a time.

In my opinion, the control system clunky. The game play and graphics are buggy. I think they have released it before it was ready so they get to the FPS market before COD MW3.

And the Origin interface is crap. They have tried to do a version of Steam and failed. BTW, I had 10 BSOD when trying to install the Origin client.mad.gif

So I regret buying it. I guess I could use the disks as tea coasters.

Sorry I'm not into COD arcade style movement and no senses of feel of the characters.
