ok i installed civilization 4 then the expansion called warlords and then the next

expansion called beyond the sword. and i had a major problem with the game

dont know wat but it didnt work nemore so i used your uninstaller and i

uninstalled the original civilization first but i was gettin impatient cuz it was

taking so long i stopped it at the middle but after that i deleted every file that i

could find that had to do with civilization but the problem is now that when i try

to reinstalled the game the original civilization installs fine but warlords wont

install cuz it says that the new patch is installed and wont let me install it

until i delete it and i cant find it newhere on my computer i know this is long to read lol

so if anyone can help me out plz do and thx

1.Click start button

2.click settings button under start menu

3.click control panel

4.while in control panel menu, click on the add/remove programs

The warlords expansion pack should be listed. If not then there is a entry in registry still.

You're going to have to do it manually, go start->run and type in regedit

then search for keys like civ4, civilization, warlords and anything you can think of and delete them, you're using Vista so there should be around 200 or so

The other option is to reformat and install XP so you don't get stuck with this apple-esque hold your hand software management BS that comes with Vista.
