I like new technology, i just don't bother spending money on the lastest stuff unless its something i really really want or want to try out, thus the reason i spent 137 dollars on the 2400 HD PRO. I like my computer, and you know i just recently , well march 28, 2008, paid 100 dollars for the XP Disc and i upgraded from windows98se to XP home edition and my computer has been working faster and the performance is better in games, etc.
I actually like PCI cards, and i use them for gaming. The games which i cant play on this computer i put them aside and look forward to playing them on my second computer. I only have PCI slots in this rig, so i have no other choice, but to buy PCI cards and unlike some folks, they are powerful despite what people think. But as i said , my next computer i will shop better, but i am never getting rid of my PIII, that will never happen. I plan to use this for internet, and gaming(older games, some news ones ) and my Second computer is only meant to play newer games and maybe a few new programs.
Do you understand now?
