Yep, the MOMO is definitely a great starter wheel. Go for it, you probably won't go back.

The only thing I don't like about having a racing wheel is that it's really not fun anymore to play racing games on my laptop, lol. Oh well, it's worth it.

well worth its price
considering DiRT is nowhere near a sim and suffers from huge input lag with any wheel, you can't really say much if that is your only experience with a wheel... DiRT is actually easier on the keyboard in my opinion.

Whichever wheel you end up getting, just make sure you install the drivers and then set the wheel up exactly how you want it, as this will make playing games that much more enjoyable

Oh dear... I always thought always driving a real car was enough (a six-speed stick at that!), but this is tempting me to get a steering wheel.. and to start playing racing games hah

It really does add a whole new dimension to racing games (and sims). I've wanted one for years, and even the lowly MOMO has lived up to the expectations I've had since my childhood!

Another thing I forgot to mention about the MOMO, and probably my only complaint - it's somewhat noisy. If you spin the wheel real fast, it probably puts out a good 80db. I've no idea how any other wheels are in comparison though. Really, the only problem is when others might be trying to sleep in the next room or something. If you've got speakers or headphones, you can easily drown the noise out.

I have the G25 racing wheel and I love it. When I bought it I had gotten it with the plan of using it for Live for Speed and it hasn't failed me yet. The H shifter is better than sex. Wish it didn't ****ing click though. Lots of wires involved, if thats a turnoff, makes for unclean desks.

I use it for DiRT, L4S2, CRC and I love it.

If you can find it for less than an arm and a leg, I'd totally get it.

The quality is amazing.

If you see a Clinic running around in your game, chances are it's me! Say hello!

there are ways to mod it, i know for a fact that you can stop it from clicking on each gear shift

It is a loud wheel, My g/f hates the damn thing lol. But I have had my Momo for almost 2 years now with no complaints. Great wheel.

I have the G25. Best thing ever!!

ProStreet rocks with it. Only thing im having an issue with is i cant get the gearshifter to work with Test Drive Unlimited, it only works with the F1 gears.

Anyone know a solution?

I picked up a Logitech Momo today, I've been playing need for speed Pro Street for 4hours now,
It sure makes racing really fun compaired to the key board which I would only play it for maybe an hour on and then get tired of it.

So far I'm happy with this one even though I will probably get the G25.
