Martyrdom is part of the game. If you kill someone, you do have plenty of time to pick the grenade up and throw it. Most people choose not to. The "noob" tactic that gets me is Sonic Boom + gernade launcher. I wouldn't call it a noob tactic if you shot the gernade across the map into a window and killed 3 people. But using ONLY the gernade launcher and running around blooping everyone you see is noobish.
yeh its part of the game and pretty easy to avoid but most ppl get upset about it, and I was just telling how to avoid being called a "noob" and martyrdom is one of the reasons I've seen on servers when ppl start to whine with their noob comments.
-also random nades <3
I personally prefer only pam mod servers.
with perks you can have 3 nades and martyrdom, so its pretty easy to keep your killratio looking nice if you just throw your nades to enemy lines, you always get someone
I prefer Stopping Power to Juggernaut, but both are good.
Also, Martyrdom is noobish whether you like it nor not. You don't always have PLENTY of time, unless the person that dropped it was someone that you killed yourself and are aware of. Sometimes you run around a corner where someone else just killed an enemy, and you run around and get blown away. That happens to me a lot for some reason
But if you killed the person, then yes, you have more than enough time to escape. I personally NEVER run near any dead bodies I see, but sometimes you run around a corner where one died and you didn't see it...
everybody got their own gaming style, bunnyhopping, sneaking, camping, rushing and so on. you dont whine about those before they kill you every style got their cons and pros. all pro's dont use the same style, there's pro bunnies and sneaky pro's. key for winning is teamplay.
Another tip (especially if playing hardcore): Listening is the key. Pick up a good headset and listen to your surroundings. It will help so much that when you try playing without good audio again, you'll feel like something is missing.
