Crysis, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5, and maybe Fallut 3, but that's more of an RPG.

If you have a friend or two, left for dead 1 is 8$ on steam, and left for dead 2 is 30 at gamestop. If single player, fallout 3 is good, and I had alot of fun playing Call of duty world at war single player, but i'm a sucker for WW2.

..........?

For real though TF2 is great fun once you get the hang of it.

Crysis is fun, at least the opening sandbox level, and it'll be a feast with the settings you can push with that rig. If you do happen to pick up Crysis, I suggest this mod, it makes amazing visuals even better.

Call of Duty 4 is pretty fun, assuming you intend to be playing on PC you might want to go ahead and pass on MW2. The lack of dedicated servers, rampant cheaters (many of which find it necessary to brag on this very forum), and a "not-so-epic" single player makes it a few steps back from the original MW.

Left 4 Dead 2 is also a great game. I wouldn't really bother with the first one unless the price difference means much to you. The second one is much more polished and the community is much larger now.

You won't find a better flight sim than Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

You might like Fallout 3 as well, but expect more of an RPG experience rather than an FPS one. I know a lot of people who expected a full on FPS from fallout3 and were sorely disappointed.

Dead Space is really the only "survival/horror" game I can think of that's held my interest lately. It isn't as much survival as it is horror, and it stops being scary when you know what to expect, but it's stil a decent game.

In my opinion, the original F.E.A.R. is probably the best horror game made in a good long while. The expansions were meh, and F.E.A.R. 2 is by no means a bad game, but it's hard to top something as amazing as the original. It's more than two years old though, so you may have already played it.
