Because 360s are junk. I had 2 break in a year. So i got it refurbished and sold it and got a PS3. I like it a lot better. Plus its a BluRay player too, and i cant wait for GT5.

- It had just price dropped $100, so I felt my money would go far. (got the 60 gig the day of the price drops)
- The xbox360's failure rate. I hate RMA'ing stuff.
- Bluray, WiFi, memory card reader and HD all included.
- The controllers are way better lol.
- PS2 games. I had always wanted to get a ps2, but never got around to it. This gave me the ability to play all the games I'd been wanting to play on PS2, and all the cool new games for ps3.

That's true, I do like the fact that you can upgrade the harddrive. The controllers are Blue tooth and witch I guess they are faster than wireless?

My ps3 has been hot and never failed on me once. Also Crazy9000 I do hate RMA to, that's one of the reasons why I didn't get a 360 (after you said that )

-next gen games.

i definitely regret buying my ps3. not the full purchase but just the time that i bought it. I got it at launch and enjoyed resistance and some other games for awhile. But it definitely wasn't worth the price tag at the time. Shoudlve bought around this year with all the stuff up and coming.

Bought it for Blu Ray/media first, games second. I use the media functions on the PS3 everyday.

I also bought the 360 for HD DVD first, games second, but then sold it for a couple of reasons; The media functionality is terrible compared to the PS3 and fear of the RRoD.

I have fear of RRoD. That's why I didn't want to get it and because of RMA. God I hate rma

No... they use infrared, the same technology as your tv remote. There's really no difference except bluetooth can support more controllers.

Well I got one for backwards compatibility with my PS2 games, Next gen games, Blu ray support, linux/other os support, upgradable harddrives, folding support, free online use, and because I don't much care for the 360 exclusives since I am a PC gamer.
