Not looking to sli atm...

so long as it has a 24pin mobo connector it will work just fine although that psu is a total piece

it has a 20 pin connector + a 4 pin connector. The mobo im using now has a 24 pin slot but is working will with the 20 pin + the 4 pin for the cpu plugged in the seperate 4 pin slot next to the cpu.

Well if it turns on (ie. the psu isn't defective) then it should work, but seriously, spend some money and get a new psu, ANY psu! Dynex is pretty much as bad as you can get for PSU, and poor quality PSUs are known for dying and taking half of your components to the grave with it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I remember seeing an Antec Earthwatts 380w PSU on newegg for only $32....that PSU would absolutely KILL your Dynex one, and its quite cheap. I'd suggest you get that while you're at it so you don't fry your new components with a dead PSU (if it dies).

Yeah you guys beat me to it. Upgrade to a real power supply unless you want your power supply to die along with most of the computer.

Hence the problem with it. Best Buy brands are not known to be good brands (such as Dynex). That's like going to Wal Mart and buying something made by Durabrand in their electronics depertment. I mean sure...it may work, but for how long?
