Decathlon is like the rolls royce of silverstone PSU's....can't go wrong with them. Cost a fortune though, but worth it.

ps on the bottom with the antec

I've just ordered the Corsair 1000w. Hardocp gave it its highest power supply rating ever.

Like I've been trying to say, they are nice psus. They are built like tanks but they aren't all created equal. Even their worst DA is still pretty nice, but there are a few psus I would pick over the DA850, for example (Ultra X3 1000, Antec TPQ-1000, BFG ES-800 to name a few).

edit- Just saw this:

Thanks for the compliment. Learning about PSUs has become a hobby of mine. There are many, many, many people who know more than me. But I like to think I give decent advice most of the time. I've been lucky there have been people around to correct me when I am wrong. This site is a great place to learn things.

I was thinking of getting the DA650 or DA750, or a ST750

the DA650 would be nice and the DA750 is also great. here is a link to some other psu's you might be interested in:

and here is another from newegg comparing several 700+ watt psu's.

the prices differ so go with whatever fits your budget. also these are just the ones i would consider in my own build

Would the DA650 be a lot better than the Corsair 620HX?

since i have had the corsair hx520 i can vouch for the corsair brand. but the DA series is also top notch. you cant go wrong with either one though. i guess go with whichever one you can find cheapest. i know buy.com has deals on the HX620 all the time with rebates and using google checkout. i have seen it as low as $105.

The DA650 and hx620 are pretty close. Some reviews: DA650, hx620. Both are great PSUs with the DA650 performing just a bit better and has slightly more 12V power available (50A vs 54A). But if you get the Corsair at buy.com or provantage.com, you can get it for about $35 cheaper than the Silverstone. It's up to you.
