That would mean 15% slower clock for clock on the CPU in 3DMark frown.gif hopefully these overclock to ~4.5GHz.

The GPU performance is up 60% though which is remarkable.

Progress in reducing the power consumption is very significant, in 100W TDP AMD has managed to squeeze much stronger and better graphics Core and beter CPU performance thanks to Cyclos Resonant Clock Mash Tehnology.cowboy.gif

this looks very fake, 12% increase in overall performance with clocks that are 25% higher at the same tdp, thats already what bulldozer does, piledriver is better and enhanced. and ive read much more legit rumors saying trinity will perform 30% better in cpu tasks
as for the gpu it sounds about right, remember this is vliw4 which is more efficient, about 15% faster than vliw4, and able to clock better so thats were the gpu increase comes from

this looks like some geek was speculating and put up numbers based on bulldozer performanc
at the very least if we consider the 30% promised increase in performance i would assume piledriver to match llano clock for clock, and when clocked at 3.8 its already about 25% higher in frequency(and 4.2 with turbo thats the other 5% to tolal 30%)

this could be a sample where the GPU side is finished but not CPU side? anything is possible no?

Piledriver architecture isn't going to be much different then bulldozer, they're pretty much identical. The only thing that will change most likely will be cache and tdp optimizations. Also this is an apu so it's basically a bulldozer cpu without l3 cache, don't expect much from the cpu side of things for trinity or you will be let down.

Obviously when you look at the Chinese text in one and the Spanish or so text in the other, these were not done by the same tester.  The Llano test looks like it was done afterwards for a comparison.  But it also seems to show the falsifying nature of the Trinity test.

It took me a while until I saw the button of the MessageBox, thanks for pointing this smile.gif

I'm looking for a Thermalright bolt-thru kit

the GPU performance is my main thing not CPU, as the CPU is good enough as it is to hold it's own.
