Could have something to do with why they made a decision to upgrade users with a "bad" 670 SC to the FTW model...

if there is a recall(whether evga or nvidia) it may have to do with the smaller pcb(perhaps the reason that evga SC versions are being upgraded to the FTW) as other factory OC versions(gigabyte, asus,&galaxy) have custom "full sized" pcbs?
