not everyone only uses graphics cards..

The Infantry's primary role is close combat, which is characterized by extreme violence and physiological shock, close combat is callous and unforgiving FM 3-21.8

Also, if you're looking at that low end, you should be looking at $150 Z77 with $230 3570k for identical gaming performance.

"no 3570k, don't cry. you are not low end, you are a great chip and you should be happy"
i hope you are happy, it would take DAYS for me to comfort the 3570k. being more affordable than his older brothers is not a crime. ( tongue.gif )

anyway, the 2011 platform is great in this era (let's see what haswell itself is going to offer).

Intel should drop Ivy-E and just give us Haswell extreme by the end of 2013 in this tempo. Jeez. What a slow bunch of people. You can clearly see they don't feel any pressure from AMD otherwise IB-E would have been out right now.

What???

2.0 x4 is a big bottle neck. X8 minimum.

Car: 2007 Fiesta ST - Many many mods, to have ITB's at some point.

The 3 way gpu support is only for AMD cards on Z77 without a PLX bridge. Z77 boards need a PLX bridge for anything more then 2 way SLI.
But regardless this really doesn't effect me. I keep platforms for 2 generations and hopefully Intel gives us a replacement for LGA 2011 by 2014-2015

DDR4. Has nothing to do with AMD.

AMD can't even compete with the standard quad-core i7 chips for the Z77 platform, so I don't think that their lack of performance has anything to do with the delay.

My 3770k @4.8Ghz is fast enough. No need for anything else for a long time.

When deneb was giving intel problems, intel launched nehalem and ever since Intel held the performance crown they have slowed down to a crawl

Phenom II was released December 2008, with the DDR3 version in February 2009.

Nehalem was released November 2008. Try again. Their releases have nothing to do with AMD, and Phenom had nothing on the Core2Quads.
