From what I've seen from benchmarks and reviews, the 660 ti's scale extremely well, and are highly recommended in a SLI setup.

Since I haven't actually bought a second card, I can't say any of that is true. I'm definitely open to evidence for the opposing argument. Just looking to get the best performance for my money smile.gif

Titan = super theft

If it only comes with 3GB of memory then it makes sense. Memory really matters to some people. Now if they release a GTX 780 with 4-6GB it will probably be around $700-800 which IMO would cannibalize the Titan if it ever happens. You have to remember, some of us use the card for things and games that require a lot of VRAM.

Aint happening. I was a sucker and got the 670 because of "better drivers" and since then($320) the price has gone to almost $400. If they drop the price of the 670 I'll get another one. thumb.gif

Well to be fair the 6GB on the Titan is overly generous imo, not many situations where you'd use 4GB+ even in surround resolutions. Plus GDDR5 memory is very expensive, at least if it does come with 3GB it will keep costs down some what.

I agree with this. I'm not interested in a 3GB 780, no matter what the price is.
Here's hoping there's a 5GB model still floating out there.

the Titan even if equipped with 6GB no sense with that cost by almost 70% +. because for 99% of cases are fine 3GB of 780

The idea that the 780 can't be $500-$600 if the Titan costs $1000 seems weird to me, it's not unprecedented for terrible price gaps to exist in hardware. Remember when sandy bridge launched and they were still selling 980x/990x for $1000 even though the 2600k was basically right on their heels.

And the Titan is not targeted for those 99% of customers who do not need the additional memory. Don't forget that the Titan was never meant for those customers but for the customer who need a lot of memory and is willing to invest in a more future proof product like the Titan, people who are buying it because it is the best performing single GPU solution, or a combination of those aspects. I am fine with a GTX 680 4GB, but if I can find a used Titan (especially with the incoming release of GTX 780) for around $800, I would be hard pressed to pass on it as I know it will play any game I throw at it for the next few years be it memory or GPU dependent.
