if you open up 50 chrome tabs it crash.
if you open up 100+ tab firefox never crash.
IE is decent browser just missing few features compare to firefox.

I haven't touched IE since 2006. There's not much Microsoft could do to get me to use IE again.

Oh, really? Here are about 100 tabs and every single one has content on it (OCN on most, some youtube, game sites, stores). It's slow, but it's running (and has been for 20 minutes now).

TBH, besides specific plugins that some people love and use, most of the reasons given for X browser's superiority are bad. Privacy concerns are bull. As pointed out before, all the "tracking" in Google products can be disabled. Neither Firefox, Chrome nor IE have any major crashing issues. Both Chrome and Firefox have plugins and most popular Firefox plugins have been ported to Chrome. Both Firefox and Chrome have problems with certain sites that only work with IE because the people who created the sites sucked at what they were doing.

with the Chrome interface, there are just little things that bug me ... click 3 times to highlight the URL in the address bar

Ya... I don't know what messed up version of Chrome you have, but even my old P4 comp is able to handle over 250 tabs before anything crashes, and even then its Shockwave, not the browser it self, so you can just refresh and keep adding more.

Ya, I had 3 full windows like that biggrin.gif

As a bonus for Chrome users, put "chrome://memory-redirect/" in your omnibar (or just right click the top bar and select taskmanager, whatever), it's a nice tool thumb.gif Or... Any of these.

Good to see google ontop of things. I do agree that chrome feels alot faster, the interface is alot cleaner, and very minimal. But the downside is I dont like having everything connected, web browsing history, cookies, email, and youtube all into one. What if I'm doing the naughty? tongue.gif Firefox is still probably my favourite especially with the open source addons.

Google your cool and all but I dont trust you enough for our relationship to go farther yet. biggrin.gif
