Given the amount of money that AMD pays their CEO as opposed to nVidia ... I seriously doubt it.

Doesn't AMD's CEO make more than Intel's. Those are some business ethics. rolleyes.gif

850k is small to NVidia's lofty 15 million dollar salary. Heck Intel's CEO get's paid 888k. However they've got a lot of bosses between the CEO and his lowest paid employee.

Dear god , I've never considered myself an enthusiast because I have never taken the time to really " Know computer stuff "....but good god I'm smart enough to know I never thought this would happen or even be possible. AMD and Nvidia....working together. Hell has frozen over!

employees saying AMD is creative and innovative with nice bright people, but future not so certain and management is shifting. Nvidia employees saying the food sucks, people mean, lacks visionaries and has crappy bonuses

Most common things I saw. People kept saying nvidias compensation was crap and food sucks. One I saw said they were innovative, but not really (goes nowhere). Another said they use outdated systems, managers suck, goals are vague etc.

Most common negative for AMD was company position, layoffs, management changes shifting goals.

basically the reason amd has a lower rating is down to their current issues as a company. beyond that they seem to have the better work environment.

Gee, just on ratings alone, that tells a whole different story. How can working for a company with an uncertain future be a good thing?
