The wait for the latest version of the cure and cuddly Linux distribution known as Ubuntu was long enough so today, its developers have finally let the Hardy Heron loose. Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Long Term Support) is now finally released in both its Desktop and Server variations and it comes with too many new features to mention in one phrase. It's new, it's got at least 3 years of support and it's free for download... need we say more?

Why not just link directly to the download page?

http://releases.ubuntu.com/releases/8.04/

I would highly suggest using the torrents as the servers are getting hammered at the moment.

im using the RC version right now. it pretty sweet, iv never used ubuntu before.

im currently going crazy with all the themes and animation you can do to the OS. if it wernt for the fact that i like to play games, then i would prolly move to ubuntu over windows
