Getting really bad static with my Xonar DX + Logitech z2300s and have no clue what to do to fix it.

Narrow down where the static is coming from. Do you have a pair of headphones or different speakers to plug into the soundcard?
Make sure nothing is touching the speakers wires to the Logitech, like power cords.
