Notice there is a difference between good and accurate. If there are querks and problems in the audio, studio monitors will let you hear them, a good hifi system will won't.
So it really depends, if you want it to just sound good where any problems in the audio aren't noticable or if you want the accuracy and to be able to notice the problems.
IMO though, it's best for you to go for a good HIFI system since you want it for games, movies and music. Studio monitors are really more suited to those who want to work with audio and will be mixing and such.

do you have any suggestions? like which hifi system is worth the money...

I practically don't use the 5.1 feature. Headphones for gaming, music is 2.1, movies are watched on the bigger TV (so the surround wouldn't work).

Get 2.1 speakers.
