Do you have your card on the first PCI slot? I had problems with mine, and they all went away when I moved it.

MOO

Other than the fact that you have your X-FI disabled?

Hmmm..I can only speculate as to what I'd do. But I would remove the X-Fi drivers first, then physically remove the card. Then see what you've got in Device Manager. I'd say that if there are any audio devices still showing up to disable them. Then try reinstalling the X-Fi card.

EDIT - Yea you disabled X-Fi for stability right?

Yeah disabling X-Fi was the only way to even get my computer to boot, so yeah it's temporary. Holy crap a huge tree branch just fell on the roof lol.

Not sure...here one sec I'll take a pic

Bah can't find camera...but it's in the one closest to my GPU. When the case is upright it is installed int he highest PCI slot. Is that the first one?

Okay, I changed PCI slots, booted up...just got about five or six blue screens on a row. I only get to desktop for like 15 seconds before I get it. For some reason I've survived this long without being booted yet, but what's bad is now X-Fi isn't even IN the device manager to disable.

Had to put it back to the original PCI slot just for the computer to recongize it existed, reinstalled the drivers, but no sound. I've likely logged 8 hours into this thing, I don't think this is worth it anymore.

Okay I just disconnected, uninstalled everything. Screw the X-Fi, it's not worth all this time and insanity.
