The detail is lacking in the K550. Quite often, the bass over shadows the mids and highs. It is pretty muddy sounding for the price. Still better than beats though tongue.gif

K550s are love it or hate it cans. Problem with frog is he wanted it locally, wanted it for 200 and wanted it closed. Given those 3 things, I'd say he made a decent choice. DT770 was the only other headphone I was thinking of that would have suited his needs.
