My Cyber Acoustics (CA-5001) stopped working recently, all the right side speakers stopped working. So I'm looking for a new set of speakers. I've been looking at some logitechs, what do you think of these?

I'm using a pair of these I found in the closet and they are horrible, my ears are bleeding.

Ed, my heart goes out to you.

What's your budget? Or is your budget $100?

Not sure, no more then 100$ but I'd really like to keep the price as low as possible. Something in the 60$ range would be great.

I have the X-230s, and they are pretty beastly for what they are. Lots of bass though, even with the gain all the way down. Not sure if that's your thing. High are pretty clear, and mids are typical of $50 speakers. Great for gaming, but if you're an audiophile, you can't go wrong with the Klipsch set. You can readily find the ProMedia 2.1s on ebay for $75. good luck.

My dad bought the X-230's for his old PC usage. Pretty sweet.

If you can find them, the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's are stunning. They're what I'm rockin' right now. I just wish I could mod my X-Fi and get better speaker cables.

Yeah, those are sweet speakers, but they're over his budget by like $50 after shipping. I wish I could recommend them. Those are my next speakers if I can ever part with my Altec Lansings.

The X-230 are VERY bass heavy, so if you like that I guess they're ok.

Then You Definitly want the Z-2300s..nice and clear, good highs, crazy bass but the mids could be a tad better.
