I'm currently using the Razer Carcharias (I think I got it from Best Buy) and it's really, really good. It's without a doubt the most comfortable headset I've ever worn, and no part of your head/ears start hurting even if you keep it on for hours at a time. The sound is also really good, in part due to the full ear cover, and my friends tell my the microphone is better than all my previous headsets, so I'll have to go with them on that one. Over and all, if it's still 80$ like when I bought it, it's way worth the money.

It sucks that your stuck with what Best Buy has to offer, because for $100 you could get much better headphones and a clip on than anything they sell at Best Buy for that amount.

I own these http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Plantronics+-+Multimedia+Stereo+Headset/9210276.p?id=1218059403490&skuId=9210276
and honestly they are very uncomfortable, and only after a few months of use the inline volume control adjustments makes me lose either the left or right channel at times.

I have a friend who owns these http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Plantronics+-+GameCom+777+Stereo+Headset+with+Dolby+Technology+-+Black/8978467.p?id=1218004380179&skuId=8978467 and honestly for the money, they arent much better.

Again it sucks that your stuck with only what Best Buy has to offer, Syrillian made a pretty good suggestion. They will most likely be of better build quality, and sound quality for that matter than the Plantronics headsets.

i have these.. bought from newegg.. and it is comfortable and durable.. it is the only headphones i found on newegg with good reviews (i mean not a negative review almost every other recent review about the durability)

i read several reviews about how long they last and one guy going as far as saying he is on his 3rd pair because the only thing that put it out of it;s tenure in his last 7 years was his puppy chewing it or him cutting the cord accidently with his chair.

i hate best buy but I got a $30 giftcard. I'd use it towards the Logitech G930 if they were 129.99 again.

SEGA! was seriously injured, but the soul still BURNS!

oh ok, so you are aware of the quality and comfort of that specific headset. The quality doesnt get any better with there products at higher price points, which is why I would advise against getting the $99.99 headset you linked that they make.

I may try that Razer headset if they have it in the store. I wonder if I could test em, take em back if they're not what I expected or whatever.

They got the Razer Carcharias online, not sure if they'll have em in stores though.

I just got the Carcharias, and I am liking them.
Have not had a chance to test out the mic though.

i agree the razer carcharias recommendations, they are fantastic. in case you feel like spoiling yourself, the logitech G930 (wireless), or the sennheiser PC 350 (wired), are both amazing.
