Pretty good idea there, mine kinda hit a brick wall around Christmas and has been empty since. Way to keep people interested.

I have created a bit of backlog over the past months of pictures. I am now bringing them out as updates. Otherwise the buildlog would have died for quite a while between updates. I am a little ahead of this update in real time. But the updates are closing in fast. With one or two updates the log will be up to date with how far it is now. Thing is I need to wait for parts (especially custom parts) and sponsored parts and I need to save up between orders. So I thought I would create a bit of a backlog first.

I guess he liked them stickers tongue.gif

Thanks for the explanation. Keep it up.

So far its great Tim !

Are you going to keep your fans orientated like that ?

Wouldnt it be better for the fans on the top radiator to suck in cool air aswell ?

Well it is also done for the readers themselves. When people join is halfway and see a project in progress they are also interested in seeing updates and not completely forget about it. Much more fun to get constant updates instead of two or three enormous ones. Leaves more room for discussion about certain mods.

Don't know about the stickers, perhaps he meant something else instead.

So far the idea is to let the two 92mm fans be air intakes and the three top ones as outtakes. To get a flow past the mobo heatsinks. The cpu, ram and gfx cards will all be watercooled. So they don't need airflow. I can also get the XSPC mobo waterblock for the UP7, but I really like the stock heatsinks so going to try without first.

Thanks for the great comment though Michel thumb.gif

Time for a small update.

I had this idea for 2 SSDs. One being a Samsung one (black and orange duh) and the other being the same but put it in a new casing. Full acryl with Samsung engraved and finally (if doable) 2 or 3 LED holes in the side to add either orange or white leds and highlight the brandname.

How do you guys think it worked out? Be honest. They will feature on the back of the mobo plate side by side. More picture of them when they are fitted and the leds have been tried.

Thanks a lot for helping me out Marcel! I know it cost you quite some blood, sweat and tears to get them done the way I envisioned it! Top work!

And I finally received my package that was sent by the most handsome man in the world thumb.gifbiggrin.gif bearing the most beautiful name in the world. Thank you SO MUCH for helping me out man. drunken.gif

Two i7-3770ks and 2 packages of 2*4GB Samsung low voltage, low profile ram. In other words; THE overclocking ram. One cpu is for me, one is for a friend and all the ram is mine. For this project biggrin.gif

I think the housing looks great biggrin.gif

Just the PCB of the SSD looks like it might interfere with the orange. Maybe something like and orange/white plastic piece between the PCB would be better. Or some isolating tape (my ghetto style), although that will probably lower the quality of this A+ mod as bigmac called it biggrin.gif
