Im looking to upgrade to a SSD from a short stroked RAID0 velociraptor setup. Im only running on a SATA II board (X58) and don't plan to upgrade anytime soon. Anyone have any idea how noticeable my performance increase would be? I know I won't get numbers over ~270, but do the IOPS drop off as well since I will be using SATA II? If so, does it even matter, considering a SSD has amazingly higher IOPS than a HHD anyways?
Thanks.

What the heck?!!!

How far does it beat the M4 in terms of performance?
