I'm looking to upgrade my 64gb boot-drive to a 128gb+ SSD.

Seems like the best buy at the moment in terms of pricing and reliability.

I'm currently using a 64gb and 128 crucial ssd. Should I just stick with crucial and pay the extra dollars?

If you are not going to use the drive for frequent writing of large files, I don't think there is any problem with those Samsung drives. Its also the drive I have in my rig. I don't have any issues with it. It is pretty fast.

"FineWine®" just means that it's currently swill.

Whether or not to get the Samsung 840 (non-Pro) depends on if you're comfortable with the concept of TLC (3-bits-per-cell) NAND or not.
