Hard to find anything close. I have both the 8 and 10 inch versions of the S2. I have owned every iteration of the ipad and the S2 is superior in every way.

The AMOLED screen is spectacular, battery is great and it is very fast. Throw in a cheap 128gb micro sd and it wipes out the ipads.

My advice is to spend a bit more and buy the best.

The other 10 inch android tablets are average at best. The only decent one is the sony experia and its specs are lower than the samsung.

If you can budge on the size, the NVidia Shield K1 is $200 and very, very nice. I really enjoy mine - lot's of games, front-facing speakers, its powerful, great display, and there are a few stands and cases for it to protect and support. It has a microSD slot good up to 128gb (I think, I have a 32 in mine)
