it looks similar because they are us9ing the same assets. aaannd why would they not use the same assets no matter what way you look at it, it's always gonna be the same game. when all you do is shoot people in multilayer what could a sequel possibly offer, twice as many bullets? Most they could do is a whole butt load of new maps with some new 3D models and textures.

Lol you just said it yourself.
Basically i paid $80 to be a beta tester for BF4.

Dont get me wrong though BF4 looks fantastic and that 17min vid looks more polished and with less over the top colour scheme it could a big winner im just not going to pay release price for it.

its bf3 with some effects(wind, dust, light) added to it. No extra details added. The terrain, foliage and objects looks similar to bf3.

I agree with Grizzle on this one, its still early days lets wait and see, I'm sure the engine is capable of much more but knowing EA its a last ditch cash grab from the 360/PS3 owners before the new consoles are released, because lets face it, not everyone will be able to afford to upgrade. I'm just hoping for a good game.

IMO, since it's such a multiplayer-esque game series I could care less about the graphics (BF3's visuals are more than fine) and more about consistent/balanced gameplay.

My feeling is that BF3 was what Vista was to Microsoft. It was the first foray into a new world, a step in the right direction but not perfectly executed.

Fingers crossed they now make a WIndows 7, a great game.

I really can't tell the difference between Frostbite 2 and 3. The explosions do look a lot better though o.O I do hope aircraft don't just explode in mid air when hit with rockets and actually spin out (especially helicopters) before hitting the ground. Come on DICE, show us what Frostbite can do.

Can't stop the signal
