This^ people are expecting huge jumps in a graphics within such a short time. Seriously PC gamers are really getting spoiled and feel like they're entitled to things.
it looks similar because they are us9ing the same assets. aaannd why would they not use the same assets no matter what way you look at it, it's always gonna be the same game. when all you do is shoot people in multilayer what could a sequel possibly offer, twice as many bullets? Most they could do is a whole butt load of new maps with some new 3D models and textures.
"Some of the lower scores were reactions to the large amount of bugs and glitches in the initial release, including crash to desktop bugs and network problems. For example, Gaming Nexus (who awarded the game an 8.7 out of 10) reported, "I’ve had many cool experiences playing it and a lot of 'did I just see that' moments but all of that is crapped on by the bugs and quirks in the game.""

Basically i paid $80 to be a beta tester for BF4.
Dont get me wrong though BF4 looks fantastic and that 17min vid looks more polished and with less over the top colour scheme it could a big winner im just not going to pay release price for it.
I agree with Grizzle on this one, its still early days lets wait and see, I'm sure the engine is capable of much more but knowing EA its a last ditch cash grab from the 360/PS3 owners before the new consoles are released, because lets face it, not everyone will be able to afford to upgrade. I'm just hoping for a good game.
I really can't tell the difference between Frostbite 2 and 3. The explosions do look a lot better though o.O I do hope aircraft don't just explode in mid air when hit with rockets and actually spin out (especially helicopters) before hitting the ground. Come on DICE, show us what Frostbite can do.
