The beauty of the Sims series is that there is no goal, there is no specific method of gameplay, and it doesn't end. You can either play god, play fashion designer, or architect. I don't know where you took your sample pool but plenty of guys enjoy this series due to whatever aspect of gameplay that appeals to them. Please do not make retarded generalizations.

Hey I play the Sims2. Its fun to torture them in the "Shed of dispair, suffering and sorrow.." thats behind the house. I put them in there and remove the door for like days. Muuuaaaaahhhhhahahahah!!!! No food, no bed, and no bathroom. lololol.

edit/// Oh back on topic, sweet the Sims3.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.

The Sims themselves had better look much better in the real game. Everything else looks amazing.

Call me a woman, or you're just wrong. Maybe the game is too hard for Australian men. The Sims rules!

what everyone needs to understand is that most of the people that will play sims 3 are younger kids playing on their daddys 4 year old Dell computer. They could make this game crysis-beatable with its potential, but it would kill the franchise. All they can do here is make the scale larger. Make it open world. Sure they can make the maximum graphics setting more than Sims 2 but for the most part they have to be down to earth. The creators are just finishing off Spore so they have no trouble with imagination and they sure as hell aren't short of funding. This game will be good. But its not in interest of the type of gamers on this forum so we cant judge it on graphics alone.

lots more screens. you can see the obvious improvement. large scale. no more cutoff houses on their own on a street. that alone is a real improvement for the sims, to have a large scale free roam village.
