I've been replaying Fear 2 just to get the story fresh in my mind lol, but holy **** does it make my hair stand up on the back of my neck in the school. It's just one part that's really bad...

You're walking/running down the hallway and then all the sudden all the lockers start slamming open and closed... all the way down the hallway... I scream like a little girl, sprint, and hold down the fire button lol...

Most unsettling moment in the series for me was in F.E.A.R. 2 when you walk into the music room and the thing is just kind of fiddling with the piano, and as you get closer, it starts banging on it and comes after you.

Gave me serious goosebumps.

Most startling moment in the series for me was Paxton at the bottom of the ladder in the first game. I nearly crapped my pants on the spot.

I can't wait for the third installment. I'll definitely be picking it up.

I am sure F3ER will keep me freaked out and on the edge of my seat at every moment like the first 2. However, saying that it is the scariest game of all time is an overstatement, especially considering that fear is subjective, and different to everyone.

That being said, I cannot wait for it.... I WANT IT NOW!

I don't even play any M-rated games because they are intense enough they freak me out. So NO WAY I could handle this game. I can barely even take a roller coaster.

Games don't scare me

^^^ You'd have to drag me kicking and screaming onto a roller coaster though

FEAR 1 had it moments which made a jump a little. Fear 2 im playing right now and it just seems like a normal FPS...nothing scary about it.

I don't know about you guys, but I didn't find fear particularly scary. Of course there were little bit's were there are scripted horror sequences, but once shooting starts it's not scary. It's just another call of duty, with superpowers. Nothing that comes out today compares to true mind****ing horror games like eternal darkness, fatal frame & silent hill

Is he serious?

I played F.E.A.R 1 and 2, and I don't find it scary at all.
Sure, the game startled me a few times in the beginning, but that stopped later on in the game.

Being startled is not the same as scary anyway. Well, at least in my opinion.
But I guess we'll see how the game turns out.

(Silent Hill is a real recommendation if you want to crap your pants xD, not literally ofcourse)
